British actress Naomi Watts, who is popularly known for acting in films with dark or tragic themes, is now seeking solutions to help women adapt to the impacts of menopause.

She found herself drawn to the cause when she entered perimenopause.

Watts discovered a lack of products and resources in the market that could support women during this stage of life.

Hence, the actress stepped forward to found Stripes Beauty, a skincare and wellness line.

“We’re committed to normalising this life stage and making sure women feel supported, not sidelined,” Watts tells PEOPLE. “Every formula is designed to address changes that happen during menopause — whether that’s dry skin or a thinning scalp.”

As selected products from her beauty line go on sale for Amazon Prime Day, Watts has shared her “menopause must-have” with the outlet.
