Superman movie has a hidden Batman reference

The new Superman movie directed by James Gunn has a hidden reference to Batman.

The Batman hint appears for a split second which you would miss in a blink of an eye.

The new Superman is big-screen debut of Gunn’s DC Universe, which will introduce the fans to a new world of the beloved superheroes in a reimagined manner.

Even though Batman is not mentioned explicitly, there is a hint for the eagle eyed fans who could spot it.

As the final sequences of the movie role and people are fleeing from Metropolis, the audience can catch a road sign of the Gotham city, which is Batman’s city.

Fans were quick to catch it as one wrote online “Seeing the street sign that says, ‘Gotham City next right’…. oh yeah it’s coming”.

While Superman and Batman’s cities are not that close in the comics, the new world as reimagined might make this change.

“It made sense to us and worked for our story that they were kind of sister cities across a big bay.”, Snyder said at the Comic Con.
