Angelina Jolie stuns her timeless pose for 2025 TIFF red carpet

Academy Award-winning actress Angelina Jolie recreated her iconic 2012 Oscars pose at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival.

On Sunday, Sept. 7, Jolie graced the TIFF red carpet for the premiere of her film Couture, putting on a stunning leggy display.

The Maleficent star stunned in a long, double-breasted, chocolate-brown coat dress with structured shoulders and a dramatic thigh-high slit.

Jolie posed with her hands tucked into the coat’s pockets, the sultry slit allowing her leg to peek through, exuding effortless Jolie confidence. She paired the look with classic black pointed-toe stilettos, keeping it minimal yet sharp.

Her long, straight, blonde-highlighted hair framed her face, while her makeup was soft yet defined — nude lips, subtle contour, and eyeliner accentuating her signature striking eyes.

The iconic A-list actor stars as Maxine Walker in Winocour’s French and English-language ensemble Couture.

Jolie’s character is a director of a low-budget horror film who is recruited by a French fashion house to direct a project for its Paris Fashion Week runway show.

While Maxine struggles to balance work, motherhood, and her ongoing divorce drama, she also learns she has been diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer.

“I feel like it’s such a personal film,” Jolie told Variety in London ahead of the world premiere at TIFF. “It felt so private that in my mind, it’s probably the one film that doesn’t feel like a film.”
