Ed Sheeran makes rare comment about his wife

Ed Sheeran has made a rare comment about his wife Cherry Seaborn and how she influences his music.

The singer keeps his married life private as he is raising two daughters, Lyra and Jupiter, with wife away from public eyes.

Talking about how his partner affects his music choices, he admitted that Cherry can instantly “kill” a song if she is not as enthusiastic about it.

Ed emphasized that he trusts her opinions and music judgement.

Making an appearance on Kylie Kelce’s Not Gonna Lie podcast, he was asked if he asks his family for opinions on his music.

He said “100 percent. Yeah, 100 percent. Cherry can kill a song. She can. I'm actually really careful to play her songs when she's in a good mood. Because if she's like, 'Eh,' then in my mind, I'm like, 'Okay. That song's dead.'”.

Ed gushed about his wife’s taste saying “She's just got a very good taste and read on things. Like, even I would write, I'd say, three songs a day, five days a week. And I'll come home and I'll play them. And she can sift through that pretty easily.”
