Vin Diesel, Michael Caine enjoys double date ahead of new movie

Vin Diesel and Sir Michael Caine were spotted enjoying a double date along with their respective partners in Hammersmith, London.

The outing was part of an early birthday celebration of the Fast and Furious star, who is turning 58 on July 18, 2025.

According to the Metro, the 92-year-old Batman Begins star kept it classy in a black suit paired with blue shirt, black trousers and black shoes.

The duo, who have been friends for over three decades now, was joined by Michael’s wife Shakira and Vin’s girlfriend Paloma Jimenez.

During the two-hour lunch the group also sang “Happy Birthday Diesel” ahead of the star’s big day later this week.

The 57-year-old Dominic Toretto actor is working on a project with the Great Escaper star, titled, Mark and Maurice.

The project was revealed by Vin at the end of June 2025 as he said, “Over a year ago, Michael and I started working on an independent project called Mark and Maurice. I can’t wait to share what we’ve been up to.”

He also paid a heartfelt tribute to his longtime friend, writing, “Michael’s friendship has been healing and loving, and I have been blessed to have him in my life.” 

Was Michael Caine ever Knighted? 

Michael Caine is an acclaimed English actor having starred in several movies including, The Dark Knight Rise, Going in Style, The Prestige and more. 

He was made Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in 1993 and he was knighted in 2000.
