Kate Beckinsale surprises mother with sweet gesture

Kate Beckinsale delighted her mother Judy Loe with her favorite childhood song Bye, Bye Love, and shared an emotional moment during a hospital visit on July 9.

The 51-year-old captured hearts with her adorable gesture. The English actress wrote on Instagram, “When my mum was 14, she was in a harmony group with her best friends Mary, Sylvia, (known as Fuzzy to this day because of an unfortunate perm decades ago) and Chris. Mary unfortunately is no longer with us but up until very recently even though they are in their now late 70s they would get together and still absolutely kill it. I am a very poor substitute not being a very good singer, but I want my mum’s dearest and oldest friends in her hospital room with her...”

The Underworld star previously revealed her mother's health issues, as she is fighting against stage four cancer.

Kate, UK born, went through a rough patch in life when her stepfather Roy Battersby passed away in early 2024.

Fans shared comments gushing over her sweet gesture as one wrote, “Beautiful Kate - you absolutely know, and give, what matters xx.”
