Netflix unleashes ‘Wednesday: Season 2’ official trailer

The wait is finally over as Netflix has just dropped the official trailer for Wednesday: Season 2 and it is packed with more mystery, brooding, and macabre mischief than fans could ever have imagined.

The much anticipated sequel of Jenna Ortega’s massive hit promises a next level of Addams Family chaos.

The trailer opens with Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) returning to the Nevermore Academy. Both faculty and students now consider her as the saviour of the school which is a bit overwhelming for her.

However, the trailer then dives into a whirlwind of new visions, violent confrontations, and cryptic clues, teasing a season that’s bigger and bolder than the first.

Fans will also see the return of Tyler Galpin in the second season who also plays a significant role as the Hyde monster.

Within minutes of the trailer’s release, social media exploded with comments.

Praising Jenna’s exceptional acting skills, one fan wrote: “I'm so impressed by Ortega's ability to be so expressive without smiling. Yelling etc. She absolutely nailed this role.”

Another commented: “I'll give this trailer props for not showing major plot points and just showing bits and pieces to keep us interested for the actual series. This is how a trailer should be done.”

Overall, the trailer surpassed the fans’ expectations and they are waiting for the season to release.

Who is not returning to Wednesday: Season 2?

Percy Hynes White (Xavier) and Naomi J Ogawa (Yoko Tanaka) have confirmed their exit from the new season.
