Cierra Ortega expresses remorse after sudden exit from 'Love Island'

Cierra Ortega, who is known for her appearance on Love Island USA, broke her silence after suddenly exiting the seventh season of the reality show.

The 25-year-old star found herself in the middle of a controversy after her past posts began circulating online.

After her abrupt end of journey on the show, Cierra issued a public apology for those she has “deeply hurt” by being “ignorant.”

She expressed her remorse in an Instagram video after three days of the incident as she took her “chance to process… speak without being highly emotional.”

Although the TV personality made it clear that she is not the “victim,” she addressed the “entire Asian community… I am deeply, truly, honestly so sorry.”

Cierra insisted that she had “no idea” about the roots of the word or “I never would have used it. I had no ill intention when I was using it.”

The influencer confirmed that it was “network’s decision to remove me from The Villa,” agreeing with the consequences she is facing.

She clearly stated that she “deserved punishment, and the punishment has absolutely been received.”

Previously, the reality star’s parents shared a statement revealing that they had the “most painful” weeks as they received “death threats” and “hatred.”

According to Perez Hilton, the TikToker was of the opinion that “Botox isn’t for everyone but I love it for me.”

The model noted that when she smiles or laughs, her face can be a little “c*****,” which is why she prefers “getting a mini brow life to” open her eyes and a “snatched look.”

This was deemed offensive by many and resulted in a severe backlash. The online community demanded the removal of the contestant.
