Reese Witherspoon shares excitement for Taylor Swift’s engagement

Reese Witherspoon couldn’t stop speaking about her close friend Taylor Swift’s engagement to Travis Kelce.

At her appearance on the red carpet for The Morning Show’s new season premiere, Witherspoon shared her excitement over Swift’s engagement with Access Hollywood.

“Yes, I'm so excited for her. Everybody loves a love story,” said the actress. “It's really special. I think it's also the same feeling that people have when you've watched somebody grow up and change and stand up for themselves and grow into this beautiful relationship, so I'm very happy for them.”

The Oscar-winning actress has previously shown her enthusiasm over the Grammy-winning singer’s engagement to the NFL legend.

“Guys, we're trying to concentrate and do work here and Taylor Swift got engaged and it's very exciting,” Witherspoon said in a selfie-style video shared via her Instagram Stories on August 26.

Another woman was heard in the background as Witherspoon said she wanted to see the diamond ring that Kelce proposed with.

A friend showed Witherspoon the ring and her jaw instantly dropped. “That's a pretty ring,” she said.

Witherspoon ended the clip by mouthing “Oh my God.”

The Morning Show star added the caption, “Did anyone else's work day go completely out the window because @taylorswift is engaged?”
