Brad Pitt’s deep bond with late pal’s kids despite estrangement with own kids

Brad Pitt recently created a deep bond with his close friend Chris Cornell’s three kids despite his estrangement from his own children.

According to Radar Online, a source revealed that the late rocker, who died by suicide in May 2017, had a brotherly relationship with Troy star.

Therefore, they mentioned that after Chris’ demise, there’s “still a gaping hole” in Brad’s life but being able to “show up” for late pal’s kids has been “healing”.

“A huge part of Brad’s sobriety journey over the last five or six years has been showing up for people, supporting them, and helping them step into the spotlight themselves,” said an insider.

The source noted that the F1 actor took the loss of Chris “very hard, almost like he’d lost a member of his own family”.

“Brad trusted Chris on every level. It was a friendship that was honest, loyal and sparked by a mutual understanding,” stated an insider.

However, the way the actor bonded with Chris’ kids, his relationship with his own children including Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne, whom he shares with ex-wife Angelina Jolie, have been disturbing over the past few years.

Another insider told People that at least four of his children dropped his last name legally or otherwise.

Meanwhile, the tipster told Radar that “doesn’t change his fatherly instincts one bit”.
