American actress Nina Dobrev has dished about her hit show The Vampire Diaries.
She is famously known for her role as Elena Gilbert and Katherine Pierce on the supernatural drama series.
Nina has revealed she got into a fight while she was filming for the show.
The actress, who starred alongside Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder, recalled she got into arguments because of issues of equal pay.
The 36-year-old claimed in Samantha Highfill's new book I Was Feeling Epic: An Oral History of The Vampire Diaries that her, Candice King and Kat Graham were the lowest-paid series regulars in the first two seasons.
“It was a bit of a tricky situation because my contract only said to play Elena, but I was playing multiple characters, which doubled my workload.”, Nina explained.
She said that despite playing multiple characters, she was not being fairly compensated.
“I had to be on set for double the amount of time, I had to memorise double the amount of lines.”, she added.
Nina also claimed that the studio asked writers to stop writing for her other character so they did not have to pay more.
