Elliot Page begins new romance with Julia Shiplett

Oscar nominated actor Elliot Page has debuted his new romance with Julia Shiplett on his Instagram.

He could be seen leaning over her shoulder as they posed on a street, simply captioning the picture with a heart.

Having starred in Overcompensating, Shiplett also shared a snap of them on her Instagram which showed them relaxing in a hot spring.

Page has been open about his relationships with Kate Mara and Olivia Thirlby in the past in his memoir, Pageboy.

About a certain celebrity who he did not want to reveal the identity of, Page wrote, “My partner was more closeted than me for a change. We were together for almost two years, and even some of my closest friends were not aware I was in a relationship. Her parents did not know.”

He explained how they had tried to keep their relationship secret before finally ending it, “It was not a sustainable relationship, just like when I had kept people hidden. People didn't ‘think she was queer,’ but they definitely assumed I was, and I don't think she could handle the shame. Ultimately, she had to do what was best for her, and unfortunately it resulted in my heart being shattered.”
