Emma Stone, who is known for her role in La La Land alongside Ryan Gosling, opened up about the viral bee incident that occurred at the Cannes 2025.
During her appearance at the Jimmy Kimel Live, the 36-year-old actress was shown the video from the red carpet. It featured the actress who can be seen falling into Pedro Pascal’s arms.
Diego Luna, the guest host of the show, tried putting the blame on Austin Butler for seemingly “throwing back at” the actress and bringing the “bee” there.
The Cruella lead instantly became defensive of her co-star as she called him “a sweetheart,” confirming he didn’t do it.
However, Emma playfully shifted the blame on her other co-star from Eddington as she guaranteed that: “if anyone brought the bee, it was Pedro.”
Nodding at the host, she added: “He probably brought the bee, he probably unleashed the bee.”
The Academy Award winner sarcastically praised The Last of Us actor, noting that “he’s everywhere. He’s talented, he’s gorgeous, he’s nice, he’s funny. F**k him.”
When asked in another interview about the Game of Thrones star’s popularity, she listed “all the right reasons” which makes him likeable.
The movie, which features Austin, Emma and Pedro, will be releasing for the fans in the United States on July 18, 2025.
Fans are eagerly waiting to see the trio act in the upcoming project together.
