Kid Cudi praises fan-turned-friend Timothee Chalamet

Kid Cudi is reminiscing on the old days, when he met up with Timothee Chalamet as a fan and his favourite rapper, before the actor gained mainstream recognition.

The Day 'n' Nite rapper, who is set to star alongside the Dune star in his upcoming film Marty Supreme, made some sweet comments about the evolution of their bond.

In an interview with People, the 41-year-old revealed, that he tries not to dwell on the impact his music has on people, in order to avoid thinking too highly of himself.

“It's like I try to pretend like I'm in denial about it, but Timmy is the type of friend where he's going to remind your ass,” Cudi stated of Chalamet, using his widely known nickname.

“He's going to remind you and let you know, 'No, bro, I f--- with you big bro and you're a legend and all the things, you're the GOAT.'" It's a beautiful thing, man,” the rapper continued.

The record producer also said that it was crazy that the two just hung out once and only got closer afterwards, and also that the star-studded duo’s friendship and bond goes beyond the industry.

Yes, the Little Women actor has also praised Cudi, making similar remarks that the rapper is his favourite artist, and that it was crazy to be a friend of the Grammy winner.
