The Sandman Season 2 trailer has been officially released by Netflix, teasing Dream’s final journey to Hell.

The latest trailer of Season 2, an adaptation of DC Comics series, previews Dream’s (Tom Sturridge) struggles as everything around him is beginning to be crumble.

The action-packed trailer further explores his final mission to hell and confrontations with Death (Kirby Howell-Baptiste).

“Lord Morpheus comes to us in a futile attempt to free one he loves from our domain,” Gwendoline Christie’s Lucifer warns. “Hell is awaiting his visit most avidly.”

The epic fantasy trailer ends with the lead's words: "Dreaming will survive even if I do not."

After three years of hiatus, the second instalment may be the last of the series.

Fans are thrilled with the new season as one user gushed on Youtube: "This looks more epic than the 1st season and the 1st was already epic." 

Another admirer demanded that: "This show deserves longer than 2 season." 

When will Season 2 be released?

Volume I of The Sandman Season 2, comprising six episodes, will be released on July 6, 2025. Volume II with five more episodes, will drop on July 24, followed by a bonus episode focused on Death, set to be released on July 31.
