Scarlett Johansson describes ‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ as ‘love letter’ to Steven Spielberg

In a recent interview, Scarlett Johansson shared her excitement about Jurassic World Rebirth. 

She called it a “love letter” to Steven Spielberg. The actress promises fans will “feel the DNA of the original” in every frame.

Further, Johansson passionately spoke about what intrigued her about the project.

“When I read the script, I felt like it was rooted in the spirit of Spielberg’s original,” she said. “It’s a love letter to everything that made Jurassic Park magical the suspense, the awe, and the human connection with nature and science.”

Jurassic World Rebirth is being directed by Gareth Edwards. The film aims to ground the series more in its sci-fi thriller roots.

“The fans will feel the DNA of the original,” Johansson added. “We’re not trying to outdo the spectacle. We’re honoring it visually, tonally, and thematically.”

Spielberg, who remains involved as an executive producer, has reportedly given his full support to the project. 

According to early reports, the new film emphasises storytelling, character development, and a sense of discovery.
