‘I Know What You Did?’ line returns in new horror sequel

Sony Pictures' epic callback in their new trailer for I Know What You Did Last Summer sent fans into a frenzy.

The movie is a follow-up to the 1997 film of the same name, which starred Ryan Phillippe, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Freddie Prinze Jr., and Jennifer Love Hewitt as four teenagers who conceal a terrible accident that comes back to haunt them a year later.

The new movie, coming out on July 18, reunites the original stars Love Hewitt and Prinze Jr. as Julie and Ray, who team up to help a new group of teens being terrorised by a creepy fisherman.

The movie studio released the first trailer in April, giving fans a first glimpse of Love Hewitt and Prinze Jr. reprising their roles, alongside the new cast.

The new trailer shows lots of fresh scenes and ends with Love Hewitt saying her famous line from the first movie: “What are you waiting for?”

Fans loved the trailer and took to social media to share their excitement and theories about the mysterious killer in the black raincoat.

Is there a second ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’?

There is a second film titled I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998).

It’s a direct sequel to the 1997 original, continuing the story of Julie James.
