The bond between Prince William and Prince Harry appears more fractured than ever, and royal watchers say it’s now defined by a stark “two-word” contrast.
Once known for their close-knit camaraderie, the brothers have not been on speaking terms since the release of Harry’s explosive 2023 memoir Spare.
And according to royal author Robert Jobson, the contrast in their lives couldn’t be more glaring.
Speaking to Hello!, Jobson noted: “The contrast between these images of the two brothers is huge: one of service and one of just silliness, really.”
The comment came after Prince William was seen fulfilling official duties while a resurfaced video of Harry dancing in a hospital room, posted by Meghan Markle, went viral. Jobson added: “William takes his responsibilities seriously. He’s grown into the role of supporting his father and being a King in waiting.”
Meanwhile, Harry, now based in Montecito, is reportedly estranged from both William and King Charles, who hasn’t publicly commented on the rift.
The King and his youngest son are believed to have not met in person since early 2024, following Harry’s failed attempt to restore taxpayer-funded security.
