Taylor Swift, who recently bought back her master recordings, sparked debate after allegedly deleting candid moments with Blake Lively from Instagram.

The 35-year-old songstress and the Gossip Girl alum are going through a possible fallout after getting entangled in latter’s sexual harassment lawsuit against Justin Baldoni.

Although fans speculated that the pop sensation is seemingly distancing herself from Blake, Swifties pointed out Instagram’s complications.

In response to a reddit post by Justin Baldoni’s supporter, the Bad Blood singer’s admirers debunked the theories that claimed she deleted the pictures.

One user explained that her updates from pre-2017 were removed from her profile gird “in preparation of her Reputation era.”

Another netizen remarked that Taylor's move signals nothing but “business,” showing curiosity “to know when those were deleted.”

The original post was later edited with a three-pointer disclaimer that read: “They were not deleted recently, everyone knows she deleted her old posts” and “This is a Reddit post, not investigative journalism.”

This came after the Lovers crooner was subpoenaed by the filmmaker’s legal team in the ongoing lawsuit, which was later dropped.

What is It Ends With Us drama?

In 2024, the Betty Buzz owner complained about feeling uncomfortable while filming It Ends With Us along with the director of the movie.

She later filed a lawsuit against the filmmaker, further accusing him of organising a smear campaign to defame her.

The Jane the Virgin actor denied the allegations and responded with a $400 million defamation lawsuit against the actress and her husband Ryan Reynolds.

However, Justin’s suit against the Reynolds couple was dismissed by the court. The judge explained that the allegations against Ryan, Solace or the Times do not fulfil the requirement “for them to be liable for defamation under applicable law.”
