Taylor Swift, Scooter Braun feud gets twisted update

Scooter Braun has been a negative force in Taylor Swift’s narrative ever since he purchased her former record label, and the record executive has issued a fresh statement detailing his side of the story.

The businessman started off by noting that he did not think that he would offend the Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me? singer with the move, and even hoped that the two would have an opportunity to work together.

In a recent appearance on the Diary of a CEO podcast, the Dave producer confessed that he did not expect the infamous letter Taylor wrote and posted on Tumblr at the time, noting how she felt about the entire ordeal.

“I was just shocked .I don’t need to go back into it, but what I can tell you is everything in life is a gift. Having that experience allows me to have empathy for the people I worked with who I would always say, ‘Yeah, I understand” Scooter stated.

He continued, “All the praise I had received up until that moment was not deserved. All the hate I got after that moment was not deserved, because none of these people knew me. The gift of pain was awareness.”

The music producer, who was also working with Justin Bieber and Kanye West at the time, also noted that the 14-time Grammy winner didn't fully know him when she wrote the letter.
