Scooter Braun extends olive branch to Taylor Swift?

Taylor Swift has had bad blood with Scooter Braun ever since he sold the masters rights to her first six albums, in a $300 million deal, but a recent revelation hints that the tides may turn.

The record executive had excluded the Karma singer from the deal, which made the 14-time Grammy winner embark on a journey to re-record all her albums, with the added label of “Taylor’s Version” in an attempt to regain control of the recordings.

The investment firm, Shamrock Capital, who owns the masters rights to the Who’s Afraid Of Little Old Me? singer’s albums, is reportedly looking to return the collection back to Taylor, with a nudge from Scooter.

“Interestingly enough, one of the individuals who is encouraging this deal to take place is Scooter, who was at the center of the deal the first time around alongside Big Machine,” a source told Page Six on May 21.

The albums that the My Tears Ricochet crooner could own the rights to once again would be Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989 and Reputation.

The list, off of which only her debut album, Taylor Swift, and sixth studio album, Reputation’s re-recorded versions have not been made public as of yet, would allow Taylor to have full control of all her music.

Is 'Reputation (Taylor’s Version)' out yet?

No, Reputation (Taylor’s Version) is not out as of yet, but fans speculate that the Look What You Made Me Do singer might announce the release date during the American Music Awards on May 27.
