Ben Affleck is adamant to cut ties with Jennifer Lopez

The former celebrity couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, who had been in an on-and-off relationship since the early 2000s, got back together in 2021 and tied the knot in 2022.

Two years after the marriage, the couple split up and officially filed for divorce this year.

Now that they no longer have any association with each other, Affleck wants to cut the “final cord” tying him to his former wife, according to sources that spoke to the Daily Mail.

Affleck is unwavering as he prepares to take a multi-million-dollar loss just to sever ties with Lopez completely.

Last year, their Beverly Hills property was put up for sale after the couple parted ways. Now, Affleck is more determined than ever to get rid of the property so he can completely cut any remaining ties with his ex-wife.

However, due to a lack of potential buyers, the property is now priced at $8 million—less than what they originally paid for it.

Still, the insider told the Daily Mail that the reduced price “is nothing to Ben,” and the actor “really just wants this to be sold… so that he can cut the final cord that keeps him and Jennifer intertwined.”
