The Royal family issued a fresh update on King Charles amid the growing feud with his estranged son Prince Harry.
The monarch showcased his skills in firing the L118 Light Gun during his visit to the Royal Regiment of Artillery in Larkhill.
During the new outing, King Charles appeared to be ignoring the drama revolving around Prince Harry's surname change claims.
Palace's spokesperson stated, "The King has visited the Royal Regiment of Artillery in Larkhill, meeting military personnel and their families from the 21 regiments that form the Royal Regiment."
"His Majesty also heard about the Regiment’s training and equipment - before being invited to fire an L118 Light Gun himself!"
"To commemorate His Majesty’s first visit as Captain General, The King was presented with an engraved 105mm Cartridge which was fired during Their Majesties’ Coronation."
It is pertinent to note that King Charles made a powerful public appearance as his son Harry fueled royal rift with an alleged royal surname change move.
According to Daily Mail, the Duke of Sussex 'sought advice' from his uncle Earl Spencer, who stopped him from making such a decision.
