Vinessa Shaw and Kristopher Gifford are divorcing after spending ten years together.
The couple’s date of separation was October 24, 2023, and Gifford filed for divorce on Thursday, showing they kept their separation out of the public eye for almost two years.
According to TMZ, Vinessa’s ex-husband, whom she shares a seven-year-old son named Jake, stated that insurmountable difference was the cause of their breakup.
He did not request spousal support but is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their child.
The 48-year-old broke into the spotlight in part due to her portrayal of Allison Watts in the 1993 movie Hocus Pocus, which also starred Kathy Najimy, Bette Midler and Sarah Jessica Parker.
