The legendary singer, Freddie Mercury’s biography has revealed a truth that no one saw coming.

The book, titled Love, Freddie contains a handwritten letter from an anonymous medical professional residing in Europe, who claims that she is the biological daughter of the Bohemian Rhapsody singer.

The contents of the letter, initially obtained by Daily Mail make the shocking claim, “Freddie Mercury was and is my father.”

The 48-year-old declared that she was accidentally conceived after the icon, whose birth name was Farrokh Bulsara, had an affair with a woman in 1976.

Freddie’s alleged daughter further noted of her bond with her father, “We had a very close and loving relationship from the moment I was born and throughout the final 15 years of his life. He adored me and was devoted to me.”

Moreover, she handed over 17 personal diaries kept by the We Will Rock You hitmaker to the rock biographer Lesley-Ann Jones to use for the account of his life.

The woman, only known as B, also claimed that the charismatic and flamboyant front man’s close, inner circle was aware of her existence and helped keep it under wraps.

“Those who have been aware of my existence kept his greatest secret out of loyalty to Freddie. That I choose to reveal myself in my own midlife is my decision and mine alone. I have not, at any point, been coerced into doing this.”

Notably, B alleged that Freddie’s bandmates and the love of his life, Mary Austin, were some of the people who knew her.

How did Freddie Mercury die?

Freddie Mercury died in 1991 due to complications of the disease that targets the body’s white blood cells, HIV/AIDS, at the age of 45.
