Jennifer Lopez faces legal action after divorce with Ben Affleck

Jennfier Lopez, who finalised her divorce with ex-husband Ben Affleck, has been slammed with a $150,000 lawsuit after her recent move.

After embroiling in feud with her former partner over the sales of Beverley Hills Mansion, the 55-year-old songstress faced another set back after her recent appearance on the eve of Golden Globes 2025.

Jennifer uploaded her clicks on social media from the evening outing at the Amazon MGM Studios and Vanity Fair Party.

This stirred a legal response from photographer Edwin Blanco and his agency Backgrid, claiming rights over the pictures.

According to them, the photographs were utilised “to promote Ms. Lopez’s public appearances, boost user engagement, increase shareability, and lend credibility to her branded content.”

The contested images showed the Ain’t Your Mama hitmaker in a white dress with a fur coat outside the star-studded event.

Jennifer shared the look with her 248 million followers with a caption: “GG Weekend Glamour.” These were later shared to many fashion outlets.

The lawsuit alleged that the use of images is “commercial in nature, intended for the purpose of self-promotion.”

The documents claim that the On the Floor singer and the plaintiffs agreed to enter a deal and payment but the popstar is yet to sign the contract.

The year 2025 has been tough for Jennifer as she and Ben were officially declared single in January after facing “irreconcilable differences.” The duo married each other in 2022.
