During the live finale of Season 27 of the American singing competition, The Voice, Adam David was announced as the winner.
In yesterday's final episode, David secured first place among other contestants, including Jadyn Cree from Team Bublé, Jaelen Johnston from Team Ballerini, Lucia Flores Wiseman from Team Levine, and RENZO from Team Legend.
When the rock singer-songwriter was declared the winner of the season, coach Bublé stood up from his seat enthusiastically and ran to hug the emotional winner, saying, "I love you, man."
Moreover, he added, "You’re my kind of artist... Congratulations, I knew you’d get here."
Notably, coach Bublé's team has been winning the award for the past two seasons.
David is a South Florida-born individual and began his music journey at a very early age by practising his skills on the guitar.
The singer is being honest about his past, mentioning that music helped him heal his addictions.
During the semi-finals, David failed to secure a Top 4 spot, which led him to sing again to save himself to stay in the final round. This experience might have contributed to his eventual win.
Michael Bublé has won 5 Grammy Awards in his whole career.
