Denzel Washington was spotted getting visibly upset at a photographer at the Cannes Film Festival's red carpet, in a video from Fox News Digital.
He attended the festival for the premiere of Spike Lee’s newest flick, Highest 2 Lowest, which he is also a part of.
The actor was seen speaking to Lee, as rapper A$AP Rocky was approaching them when a photographer grabbed him, claims Page Six.
The action seems to have sent the actor into a rage as he began pointing his finger in the photographer’s face.
Washington could be heard yelling at the photographer to stop, at which several of them laughed, and when the actor went to leave, the cameraman grabbed his arm.
The action set him off, as he shouted, "Stop it! Stop!"
Washington was also unexpectedly presented with the honorary Palme d’Or honor after the incident took place.
Ahead of the film’s premiere, festival chief Thierry Frémaux also shared some positive words about the star.
"It’s a very special day. Denzel, because you are here, we want to make something special for you. … It’s a kind of way for us to tell you our adoration, what you have done in cinema. Nobody knows about that except Spike Lee, who wrote me to do that," he stated, according to Deadline.
