The second week of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex trafficking trial has begun, after a week of shocking revelations took place previously.
His former girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura took the stand for four days in a row as the prosecution’s key witness.
She detailed an event where Diddy hit her on the head with a skillet back in 2009.
Now, Cassie’s former Danity Kane bandmate Dawn Richard is taking the stand, and describing Diddy’s behaviour after the incident, according to NBC News.
"He said you could go missing, that we could die," Dawn said to the jurors, explaining how he had threatened them both, "I was shocked but also scared, I couldn’t believe this would be the beginning of a journey for us (with the group Dirty Money)."
The incident allegedly took place in 2009 at his home in Los Angeles, where Dawn described him as having thrown Cassie to the ground, hitting her with a skillet that contained eggs and then putting his arm around her neck and forcefully taking her upstairs.
"I was scared for her, I was scared to do anything," Dawn insisted.
Diddy was arrested in September 2024 on five counts: one count of racketeering conspiracy; two counts of sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion; and two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.
The rapper has pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
