Superman lead actor David Corenswet and Julia Best Warner tied the knot in March 2024 but the couple just made their first public appearance together.
The American actor and his better half walked the red carpet together at the Hollywood premiere of Superman on Monday night (July 7) at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles.
The couple tied the knot in March 2023. Their teenage love bloomed when both met at a Pennsylvania summer theater program. They got married in New Orleans.
Corenswet, 32, and Warner, 34, welcomed their first child in early 2024 just as filming for Superman began.
In an interview with PEOPLE, The Politician star opened up about fatherhood, crediting his own dad for inspiring his parenting style.
"I feel like I’ve been a dad for a long time, just waiting for a kid to prove it,"Corenswet joked. "My dad was an enthusiastic father... and I think I just inherited that. I liked being a camp counselor, and I have terrible jokes that nobody laughs at."
He admitted feeling both excited and nervous about balancing fatherhood and his career-defining role as the Man of Steel, calling it "two big unknown things at the same time."
The couple looked radiant with David wearing a fine tailored blue striped suit while Julia wore an apron neck silk dress.
Though the couple keeps their personal life private, their red carpet debut showcased their strong bond as they celebrated Corenswet’s leap into superhero stardom.
Superman is directed by James Gunn who previously directed films like Guardians of the Galaxy and The Suicide Squad.
