Royal family honours Prince Edward after he stepped in for King Charles

Royal family released a photo of Prince Edward's significant meeting with new Pope in Vatican City with a key statement.

King Charles' office honoured the Duke of Edinburgh, who stepped in for his cancer-stricken brother, King Charles, to represent the royals at an important occasion.

In a newly posted picture, Edward was seen shaking hands with Pope Leo XIV in a lively moment.

The message reads, "The Duke of Edinburgh meets Pope Leo XIV following his Inaugural Mass at the Vatican."

"His Royal Highness was representing The King at yesterday’s event which marked the official start of the new Papacy."

In the comments section of the post, fans started pouring in love and support for the Edinburgh family for being key assets to the royals.
