King Charles' office honoured the Duke of Edinburgh, who stepped in for his cancer-stricken brother, King Charles, to represent the royals at an important occasion.
In a newly posted picture, Edward was seen shaking hands with Pope Leo XIV in a lively moment.
The message reads, "The Duke of Edinburgh meets Pope Leo XIV following his Inaugural Mass at the Vatican."
