Justin Baldoni’s legal battle with Blake Lively just got even messier, and now Taylor Swift’s name is being dragged into the drama.
According to newly filed court documents, Baldoni’s team claimed that Lively "threatened" Swift if she didn’t publicly support her during the escalating legal feud tied to their film It Ends With Us, People reported.
Baldoni’s lawyers even argued that Swift was pressured to delete messages and issue a statement backing Lively, a move Baldoni’s team says justifies subpoenaing the pop superstar.
Lively’s lawyer, Mike Gottlieb, immediately slammed the accusations as "categorically false," telling Fox News Digital that the claims were "cowardly sourced," "improper," and "completely untethered from reality."
In a swift move, Lively’s attorneys filed a motion asking the court to strike the allegations from the record, a motion the court granted within 24 hours.
Lively’s spokesperson celebrated the decision, warning that Baldoni’s legal team could face sanctions for misconduct.
Despite Lively’s legal victory this week, Baldoni’s camp continues to argue that Swift’s testimony is essential.
His attorney Bryan Freedman claimed an anonymous but "highly credible" source tipped them off that Lively tried to coerce Swift into supporting her, even suggesting that personal text messages could be leaked if Swift refused.
Swift’s team, however, has flatly denied any involvement.
A spokesperson said the singer had no creative role in It Ends With Us beyond licensing her song My Tears Ricochet for the film's trailer and one scene.
"Taylor Swift never set foot on set, never saw an edit, and had zero creative input," her spokesperson said, blasting the subpoena as "tabloid clickbait."
The behind-the-scenes drama between Baldoni and Lively reportedly began during the filming of It Ends With Us, culminating in dueling lawsuits.
Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment, while Baldoni claimed Lively falsely accused him to salvage her reputation following chaotic press tours and behind-the-scenes disputes over creative control.
Baldoni’s team even alleged that Lively used Swift and husband Ryan Reynolds to pressure him during production meetings, describing Swift and Reynolds as "dragons" Lively deployed to influence decisions.
As it stands, both sides are digging in for a high-profile showdown.
The trial is scheduled for March 2026 in New York, with no signs of an out-of-court settlement.
