Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s latest public appearance at a Beyoncé concert in Los Angeles has sparked fresh debate, with a body language expert suggesting Meghan displayed subtle signs of "ownership" over her husband.

During their "date night," the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seen cozying up together, dressed in cowboy-themed outfits to match the event's theme.

A particularly intimate moment, captured and later shared on Beyoncé’s official tour website, showed Meghan and Harry cuddling close, but one detail stood out to body language specialist Judi James.

James noted that Meghan’s hand was firmly placed on Harry’s left shoulder, flat against his jacket, rather than curled or gently resting.

"The fact that the hand is so flattened adds to the suggestion of a performative pose being struck here," she told media outlets.

"The fingers are straight rather than bent in a stroke or a clasp, signaling not just ownership and close attachment but also echoing a gesture often used to display an engagement or wedding ring."

According to James, Meghan’s body language resembled an "announcement pose," reinforcing the image of a unified couple still as close as they were during their engagement days.

"It’s telling anyone watching that she and Harry are together and as close as they’ve ever been," James explained.

She also pointed out that Harry appeared "more thoughtful and ill-at-ease" compared to Meghan’s confident demeanor throughout the night.

Meghan later took to Instagram to share highlights of their evening, writing: "About last night... Thank you Beyoncé and team for an amazing concert (and a very fun date night)! All love."
