Prince William 'will never forgive' Harry for 'insults' directed at Kate Middleton

Prince Harry’s hopes of mending ties with the royal family may already be in ruins, with one royal expert dismissing the much-hyped “peace summit” as nothing more than a “pathetic PR stunt.”

Last week’s secret meeting between senior aides, Harry’s team represented by Meredith Maines and Liam Maguire and King Charles’ top aide Tobyn Andreae, was billed as a positive “first step” toward ending the royal feud. Notably absent: Prince William’s team.

But royal commentator Hugo Vickers believes reconciliation with William is unlikely, saying the Prince of Wales will “never forgive” Harry for the “insults directed toward Catherine” since the Sussexes’ 2020 departure.

Vickers told The Sun: “William is likely to be more unforgiving than his father. Harry’s next move should be to rebuild his relationship with Charles, that’s step one — and then try with William.”

Vickers also questioned the Sussexes’ motives, calling the meeting a staged media event: “Why hold a meeting on a balcony if it’s meant to be private? It looks like a leak from the Sussex team, and then, predictably, they deny it.”

While Harry and Meghan’s team has denied leaking details of the meeting, Buckingham Palace declined comment, fuelling speculation that this “peace summit” may have done more harm than good.
