Simu Liu, who is known his role as Ken in Barbie, announced his engagement to girlfriend Allison Hsu after a romantic Paris Proposal.

The 36-year-old popped the big question for his flame, choosing her “forever and always.”

However, a cryptic post sparked a discussion about a possible polygamy that he might be planning. Many fans found the caption of his Instagram hilarious.

He wrote, “nine rings left” and added a bling emoji.

Simu was trolled for choosing a seemingly twisted as one user penned down: “Meaning he has nine more girlfriends to propose to?”

Another expressed love for “a polyamorous king.” A third one questioned the move “if he is planning some polygamy.”

However, one fan gave a detailed explanation of the remark by talking about “Nine [rings] for Mortal Men doomed to die.”

In another post, the Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings lead shared an adorable moment. 

He added a caption that described their beautiful life together in “Paris, days trips to Palm Springs, long nights on set, afternoons vegging on the couch.”

Allison was overwhelmed with the love and affection as she replied with: “I love you fiancé!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
