Through a nearly six hour livestream, Marvel Studios has finally unveiled the cast for their highly anticipated Avengers: Doomsday film.
The cast includes:
Robert Downey Jr. (Dr. Doom)
Chris Hemsworth (Thor).
Tom Hiddleston (Loki).
Anthony Mackie (Captain America).
Paul Rudd (Ant-Man).
Letitia Wright (Black Panther).
Simu Liu (Shang-Chi).
Danny Ramirez (The Falcon).
Winston Duke (M’Baku).
Cast members from the upcoming Thunderbolts movie were revealed to be coming on as well, including:
Sebastian Stan (The Winter Soldier).
Florence Pugh (Yelena Belova).
Wyatt Russell (U.S. Agent).
David Harbour (Red Guardian).
Hannah John-Kamen (Ghost).
Lewis Pullman (a character at this time simply known as Bob).
Interestingly, cast members from Sony’s X-Men will also be joining:
Patrick Stewart (Prof. X).
Ian McKellen (Magneto).
James Marsden (Cyclops).
Rebecca Romijn (Mystique).
Cast from the new Fantastic Four will include:
Pedro Pascal (Mr. Fantastic).
Vanessa Kirby (The Invisible Woman).
Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Thing).
Joseph Quinn (The Human Torch).
In a surprising announcement, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever star Tenoch Huerta Mejía was announced to be returning, even after being accused of sexual misconduct in 2023.
Avengers: Doomsday is slated for a May 1, 2026 release date while the following Avengers: Secret Wars is set for May 7, 2027.
