Rihanna drops another bombshell along with pregnancy announcement

Rihanna walked the 2025 MET Gala dropping a big bombshell. The singer revealed that she is expecting her third child with rapper A$AP Rocky.

Along with the well wishes from fans, another comment flooded social media; will Rihanna release new, music now?

It has been almost a decade since Rihanna released her last album, Anti in 2016 that has left fans longing for more music from the Grammy-winner who has since shifted her focus towards family and business.

While the singer was at the red carpet, an interviewer asked her if her ninth album has been “put on pause” now that she is pregnant.

“No, maybe a couple of videos”, Rihanna replied, “I can sing!”.

The Umbrella singer went on to share her feelings revealing she is not “too overwhelmed” but there was some initial shock.

“I'm good! I'm shockingly feeling ok, and not too overwhelmed at the moment. At first it was kinda like, 'Ahhh!'”.

There were also rumours about the singer finally tying the knot with her partner which she denied, confirming they are not married yet.
