Prince Harry’s explosive BBC interview may have rocked headlines, but the royal family just responded the way they know best: by doing absolutely nothing.
In the wake of Harry’s latest emotional revelations, including the claim that King Charles “won’t speak” to him and that “some people want history to repeat itself”, all eyes were on the Buckingham Palace balcony during VE Day’s 80th anniversary flyover.
And according to body language expert Judi James, the message from the royals was crystal clear: stoicism, unity, and zero drama.
“They looked like an even more closely-synchronized unit than usual,” James told the Daily Express, noting the royal family displayed “a solid wall of stoicism” following Harry’s stinging criticism.
From King Charles and Queen Camilla to Prince William, Princess Kate, and the three Wales kids, the family appeared collected, cheerful, and completely unshaken.
“They smiled with genuine delight when meeting veterans,” said James. “This was the royals doing what they do best.”
No public statements have been issued in response to the Duke of Sussex’s claims.
This comes just days after Harry told the BBC: “I can only come to the UK safely if I am invited. There’s a lot of control and ability in my father’s hands.”
He added: “This whole thing could be resolved… not by intervening, but by stepping aside and allowing the experts to do what is necessary.”
After losing his legal battle to reinstate taxpayer-funded security while in the UK, Harry said he couldn’t see a future where he’d bring Meghan and their children back home, a decision that’s only widened the rift between him and the rest of the Firm.
