Buckingham Palace made its first statement after Prince Harry said that he is 'devastated' over the verdict of his security case.
For the unversed, the Duke of Sussex gave an explosive interview to BBC after the UK court dismissed his plea to grant him official security which was downsized following his royal exit in 2020.
He said, "I'm devastated - not so much as devastated with the loss that I am about the people behind the decision, feeling as though this is okay. Is it a win for them?"
"I'm sure there are some people out there, probably most likely the people that wish me harm, [who] consider this a huge win," Harry stated.
Moreover, the Duke revealed that he would not bring his wife, Meghan Markle and King Charles' grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to the UK due to security concerns.
Speaking of reconciliation, Harry said "There have been so many disagreements between myself and some of my family," but he had now "forgiven" them.
"I would love reconciliation with my family. There's no point continuing to fight any more, life is precious," the Duke added.
In response to the security case verdict, the Palace's spokesperson said, "All of these issues have been examined repeatedly and meticulously by the courts, with the same conclusion reached on each occasion."
