Slim Thug wants to pursue Megan Thee Stallion for ‘years’ despite rejection

Slim Thug has no plans of giving up on his attempts to get Megan Thee Stallion to like him back, as he took her Coachella rejection in a surprisingly positive manner.

The rapper, whose real name is Stayve Jerome Thomas, has had numerous encounters with the Freak singer, who has repeatedly played his music onstage.

Slim had taken this as a sign that she likes him, after which Megan blatantly noted during her Coachella set, “And no, Slim Thug, this don’t mean I want you. I just like your music, babe.”

The Savage singer was still swaying to the beat of Still Tippin, a hit released by the 44-year-old back in 2005, while she turned down his advances.

Megan’s forward remark was twisted by Slim, who found the good in a very public rejection when he took to his Instagram to respond to the mention.

“I can’t do Megan Thee Stallion,” he began, seemingly admitting defeat, before adding, “Gotta do Megan Thee Auntie, 10 years later.”

He continued, “She gave me a shout-out, said my name on Coachella stage, and then she called me ‘babe.’ Come on now, that’s a lot. That was a good shout-out.”

Slim went on to say that he was pleased with the shout-out, which even caused a spike in the streams for his song, Thug From Around the Way.

The Houston native ended the address with “Imma be patient, man. Gotta come home. Slim ain’t going nowhere,” declaring his persistence.
