Meghan Markle mocked with savage nickname like Walmart by Montecito mean girls

Meghan Markle has reportedly been given a stinging new nickname by Montecito’s so-called “mean girls” following the rocky reception to her latest ventures.

According to Mail columnist Lisa Kennedy Montgomery, the Duchess of Sussex has been branded “pumpkin spice” and “Walmart” by local socialites, accusing her of selling out with a string of “cheap stunts.”

One particularly biting comment reported by The Mail claimed: “She had this incredible opportunity to be the first Black woman to marry into the Royal Family and make her mark as a chic and charming revolutionary."

"She’s so obsessed with bees? Why couldn't she stay in the Family and make honey with King Charles’s bees, he loves that stuff!”

Former Vanity Fair editor Tina Brown also weighed in, suggesting Meghan is attempting to become "an instant Beyoncé or instant Michelle Obama" but without building the years of credibility both women have amassed.

Why did Meghan Markle and Prince Harry exit the royal family?

The couple announced their decision to step back as senior members of the British royal family on January 8, 2020. This move, often referred to as "Megxit," was aimed at achieving financial independence and splitting their time between the United Kingdom and North America.

Following their departure, Harry and Meghan relocated to California, where they have since engaged in various media and philanthropic endeavours.
