Pedro Pascal took to the comments section of an Instagram video to blast author JK Rowling for supporting an anti-transgender ruling in the UK.
The video was of activist Tariq Ra'ouf who explained her influence on the ruling, and called for a boycott of her series, Harry Potter.
He also called out her tweet celebrating the ruling, where she wrote, “I love it when a plan comes together. #SupremeCourt #WomensRights."
Pascal took to the comments section to write, “Awful disgusting s*** is exactly right. Heinous LOSER behavior.”
He isn’t the only celebrity to have called out the author, with actress Nicola Coughlan posting an article with the title, This Is a New Low for J.K. Rowling. Alongside it, she wrote, "Keep your new Harry Potter lads.”
The reference is to the Harry Potter adaptation/tv series that is currently in the works at HBO.
The Bridgerton actress insisted that she "wouldn't touch [the series] with a ten-foot pole".
“To see an already-marginalized community to be further attacked in law is really stomach-turning and disgusting, and these people celebrating it [are] more stomach-turning and disgusting,” Coughlan went on to say in a video.
