Alan Ruck joins upcoming horror thriller 'Corporate Retreat'
The upcoming film has cast 'Succession' star for his 'exceptional' work
Corporate Retreat, a horror-thriller movie, which is set to start filming this summer, is announcing its new cast members nowadays.
The film presents the ‘corporate culture’ in a tech company where a group of employees go on a team-building retreat, which turns into a violent survival game controlled by a sinister boss.
Written and directed by Aaron Fisher and produced by Uri Singer, the other cast members of the film are Lilly Krug (Plane), Rosanna Arquette (Pulp Fiction), and Ashton Sanders (Moonlight).
Rosanna Arquette, who is mostly recognised for her role in Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction, is the protagonist in the film.
Today, Singer, the producer of the film known for his work in White Noise, announces the casting of Succession star Alan Ruck in Corporate Retreat.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Alan to the team,” Singer said, according to Variety. “His unique ability to seamlessly blend comedy and drama is truly exceptional. Alan has that rare talent to make audiences laugh even in moments of suspense and horror, perfectly aligning with the tone we’re aiming for in ‘Corporate Retreat.'”
Alan Ruck portrayed Connor Roy in the Emmy-winning series Succession, a role that earned him both Golden Globe and Primetime Emmy nominations. The show’s ensemble cast also secured two SAG Awards for outstanding performance in a drama series.
Beyond Succession, Ruck is recognised for memorable roles in iconic films like Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Speed, and Twister, as well as the popular television series Spin City.
