Prince William and Princess Kate made a thoughtful decision for their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, as Catherine's cancer battle gave them a new perspective on life.
For the unversed, King Charles and Queen Camilla will be accompanied by the key members of the royal family for Easter Matins Service at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor on Easter Sunday, which falls on April 20.
However, there are reports that the Prince and Princess of Wales are prioritising family time over reunions with royals.
The royal couple, who has suffered from a health scare in 2024, aims to "enjoy some extended time as a family over Easter."
As per the Mirror, "They are choosing to spend time together as a family before the children go back to school."
It is important to note that the future King and Queen also did not attend last year's service as Catherine announced her cancer diagnosis.
It has been said that William already "notified" his father about the Waleses' absence from the royal event and the monarch respected the Prince of Wales' choice.
