Rebel Wilson had Brad Pitt in the dressing room with her at the Oscars back in 2020 and she’s finally dishing the details of the encounter.
The Pitch Perfect star had been asked to be a presenter at the 92nd Academy Awards, which had Brad, 61, as a nominee in one of the categories.
However, Rebel’s task came with a price, she had to be dressed up as a cat.
The comedian had recently starred alongside Taylor Swift in the musical fantasy Cats, which is what prompted the organisers of the event to put out the bizarre request.
“I was in a hit movie, Cats… so they said, 'Would you like to present but you have to dress as a cat?'," Rebel noted on The Jonathan Ross Show.
She then mentioned asking Brad to tag along for the transformation, "Brad Pitt had just won his Oscar. He was so gorgeous and he was holding his Oscar. He needed a moment. I said, 'I've got to get dressed as a cat, do you want to come with me?'"
The 45-year-old continued, “He said, ‘Yes, do you want me to escort you to his dressing room?’ He just needed a moment… He just came with me to my dressing room for me to get transformed into a cat.”
Notably, Brad had snagged the award for Best Supporting Actor in Once Upon a Time in…Hollywood that year.
Rebel Wilson is currently filming for the 2025 picture, Tinsel Town, a Christmas film in which Rebel plays the character Jill. The actress is also making her directorial debut with the musical-turned-movie, The Deb.
