Sarah Michelle Gellar shares cute throwback snaps on 48th birthday

Sarah Michelle Gellar is sending love to her younger self on her 48th birthday as friends and fans united to celebrate her special day.

On her birthday, The Wonderful Maladys star shared an old photo of herself at the age of 6, wearing a floral dress and gold paper crown, writing, "Today I’m channeling this birthday queen … luckily it’s me!!!".

David Boreanaz, Gellar's former Buffy the Vampire Slayer co-star, penned a sweet and simple birthday message, "Happy Birthday (heart emoji)."

"Ah!! Happy Birthday Sarah, you are indeed a (princess emoji)!!! (Clapping hands, red heart, and raising both hands emoji)," Rachael Leigh Cook gushed as she celebrated Gellar's 48th special day.

The Do Revenge actress' friends, including Brenda Song, flooded her feed with birthday love, with Song writing "Happy birthday, Sarah!!!".

Behr celebrated Gellar's birthday with a nostalgic post, sharing photos from their time working together.

Behr wished, "Happy birthday @sarahmgellar. Hey...wanna go back to Tokyo soon?" with Gellar replying, "yes please."

The self-celebration comes as Gellar steps out of her comfort zone to explore fashion.

She attended Paris Fashion Week for the first time in 2025, saying, "I've been going outside of my comfort zones, which is rare, I think, at my age... maybe there's a confidence that comes with age?"
