The next edition of the iconic British superspy franchise James Bond is slated for a 2027 release which will be different from the preceding editions because of Amazon acquiring the creative control over it.
Along with the mystery surrounding the future of the iconic character, fans are also on their toes regarding the casting of the next Bond.
The last Bond was played by Daniel Craig in the 2021 No Time To Die.
Pierce Brosnan, who was the 007 from 1995 to 2002, has addressed the ongoing rumour of the English actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson being the next Bond.
“He’d be great”, said Brosnan recalling his experience with the English actor wen they worked together on The Greatest.
“He walked onto that set and brought this intense energy with him.”
Fans believe Taylor-Johnson has already been casted as the lead of the next Bond movie however, some believe if not casted yet, he is the top contender.
“I think he would be very good,” he told Yahoo Entertainment.
