Tory Lanez is returning the favour to his old buddy.
It was revealed over the weekend that popular streamer Adin Ross has been unbanned on the live streaming platform Twitch after two years.
Ross talked about being unbanned and his plans going forward on his March 31 Kick livestream.
However, the streamer received a call from Lanez from prison which took him by surprise.
The rapper said he is “proud” of Ross, to which the streamer thanked him and said, “Free Tory ASAP, we need you home.”
Lanez has been serving a 10-year sentence since 2023 after being found guilty of gross negligence in the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.
The Canadian rapper has been active behind bars and even tried to finish his Prison Tapes.
Ross has been a vocal supporter of Lanez, often calling for his release and occasionally questioning Megan’s account of the shooting.
During the stream, the 24-year-old also addressed whether he would leave Kick now that he can return to Twitch.
Ross expressed his gratitude towards Kick CEO Ed Craven for “investing” in the streamer.
“I have like a great partnership with him. I don't want to let that go,” Ross said about Craven. “He has had my back and now that I am unbanned, maybe we can do more. I can collab with more and I can do more with other people I love.”
However, Ross also revealed his excitement for returning to Twitch as he is “not on a leash” anymore.
