Pax Jolie-Pitt’s need for speed has landed him in trouble more than once—and now, his mother, Angelina Jolie, is stepping in to enforce stricter rules before he gets back behind the wheel.
Following a series of road mishaps, sources tell InTouch that Jolie is making it clear that her son must take safety seriously if he wants to keep driving.
“She’d love it if Pax would take these accidents as a warning and give up on this need for speed, but that’s very unlikely,” a source revealed.
The Maleficent star is reportedly concerned about her son’s reckless tendencies, which date back to his childhood days spent tearing through the sands of Santa Barbara in dune buggies with his father, Brad Pitt.
“It was obvious he loved the thrill of going fast,” the insider explained. “[Angelina] didn’t see anything wrong with it at the time, but she regrets feeding into that now. But what can she do? He’s an adult and she can’t stop him from riding his electric bike.”
“She does at least want him to take some defensive driving lessons before he gets back out there, he’s agreed to that as part of the consequences of the crash. And she’s made him sign a contract promising he’ll always wear his helmet,” the source added.
“It’s still going to give her anxiety every time he leaves the house on his bike, all she can do is hope that Pax is realizing how lucky he is to be alive with his brain intact and that he will act more responsibly on the road going forward,” the insider shared.
Pax has had a rough stretch, starting with totalling his Tesla in May 2024, followed by a serious e-bike accident in July that left him with significant injuries. However, his high-risk behavior didn’t stop there. Just months after being released from the ICU, he was involved in another accident in January 2025.
