Meghan Markle releases powerful statement amid backlash on Netflix show

Meghan Markle sent a strong message to her critics following the release of her cooking series on Netflix. 

The Duchess of Sussex took to her official Instagram handle and released a powerful statement to mark International Women's Day. 

Meghan shared unseen delightful photos featuring her younger self playing with her mother Doria. 

Another photo featured Prince Harry sweetly embracing little Lilibet during a boat ride. 

A picture which grabbed the attention of netizens was Meghan and Harry's adorable PDA-filled photo on a beach side. 

The former Suits actress wrote, "Happy International Women’s Day!"

"Celebrating the strong women around us & the girls with dreams who will become women with vision. Also thanking those who uplift us every day," Meghan said. 

It is important to note that Meghan's new post came after some royal commentators pointed out flaws in her newly released show, With Love, Meghan.
